Hossni

Hossni was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, to Palestinian parents. His great grandparents on both sides were forced to flee their homes in Bir Al-Saba‘, Palestine on foot during the 1948 nakba, and were never allowed to return. His father grew up in Cairo, Egypt, and his mother grew up in Gaza before marrying and moving to Egypt, where Yahya and his sisters grew up. The family migrated to the United States in the early 2000s, settling in Palmdale, CA close to family. Yahya graduated with a degree in finance from California State University, Northridge. After working in banking for several years, he moved to San Luis Obispo in 2024, where he has family.
